Makin Monsters For My Friends by The Ramones came on while I was scanning this.

Cinefantastique, Vol. 9, #1.
Famous Monsters issue 156.
It feels weird seeing Empire referred to as “Star Wars 2.”
Oh, and there’s a Space Jockey.
And now back to our regularly scheduled programming…
Fantastic Films, issue 10, September 1979.
This issue has an interview with Alien scriptwriter Dan O’Bannon where he goes into some plot points form earlier drafts of the script for Alien that had to be dropped due to time constraints.
Among these ideas was that there would be a derelict spaceship with the Space Jockey, and a separate indigenous pyramid that contained the alien eggs.
Also, the Xenomorphs were originally going to have genders.
Wonder if any of these ideas will be used in Prometheus.
