Fun fact: In the 1980’s an English language pilot was made for Space Adventure Cobra with the intention of airing it on the Playboy Channel.
Cobra was played by Michael Bell, who played Duke in GI Joe.
Marv Wolfman also worked on the script for a Viz translation of the Cobra manga.
