King Ghidorah and Mothra from Godzilla Magazine Vol. 8, 2002.
Book I got at Akihabara covering Toho special effects from the 60’s to the 80’s.
I can’t read the title, so I’m going to pretend it says “Jet Jaguar Is The Best Hero Ever”.
Size charts: they’re not just for figuring out who has the biggest breasts in K-On.
Godzilla Magazine, 1992.
Biollante, Kumonga, Kamacuras, and King Ghidorah help explain why strings suck.
Godzilla Magazine, Vol. 4, 1994.
You can now rest easy knowing that Mothra larva stood on it’s tail is taller than Biollante.
Truly, this is news you can use.
Godzilla Magazine, 1992.
Oh man, I know this fan art is clumsy, messy, and busy as all get out, but just look at it!
Love it!
I see Alien/Xenomorph, Baltan Seijin, a Rancor, a face-hugger, King Ghidorah, Guiron, an assortment of Star Wars and Star Trek ships….
Yeah, I bought this at NYCC almost solely for it’s cover.
Wanna fight about it?
Model and Toy Collector magazine, #40, 1998.
Illustration from GIGA by Yuji Kaida, 1989.
Purchased from a booth at Otakon.
I think these are from a series of illustrations used for soundtracks collecting the works of Akira Ifukube.
Back cover to Godzilla Legends.
This book is pretty nuts. The world is filled with tiny versions of kaiju, a dude is living with the android from Terror of Mecha Godzilla (ala Urusei Yatsura), and Mecha Godzilla has a huge fight with Hedorah and all the tiny Godzilla’s combine to form the original Godzilla to fight back Hedorah.
It’s pretty nuts.
