I think the worst thing about Mechanical Violator Hakaider was the choice to use realistic sound effects. So all the punching was soft thuds. Yes, that sure ruined all the action.

So who else is looking forward to Ghost in the Shell: Arise?

It looks like it’s taking some visual cues from the Oshii movie with a slightly sickly looking Kusanagi and limbs being torn.

It’s weird how Kusanagi changes from comic to movie to TV. Not to mention the cut scenes in the PS1 game are the only animated interpretation that actually looks like Shirrow’s art.
